After completing his law studies at the University of Fribourg (magna cum laude), Philippe moved to Zurich in 2004, where he worked as a junior associate for Baker & McKenzie and then for the Tribunal of the District of Bülach. After successfully taking the Zurich bar, Philippe returned to Baker & McKenzie Zurich as an associate in 2007. He then moved to New York, where he graduated from Columbia University (LL.M. 2009, Harlan Fiske Stone) and passed the New York bar exam. In September 2009, Philippe started with the law firm Homburger in Zurich, where he practiced until joining Jacquemoud Stanislas.
Philippe has experience in a broad variety of transactions in corporate finance from seed capital investments to takeovers of companies, including debt financing. He also advises financial institutions in relation to regulatory matters, as well as private equity and hedge funds in the set-up of their structures. Within this field, Philippe has developed a strong practice in digital assets.
Philippe also acts as counsel and arbitrator in M&A and shareholders’ litigations.
Philippe speaks at conferences and regularly publishes articles in newspapers and law reviews on topics related to his areas of practice.
