We have a developed over many years an expertise in Banking Law with a particular focus on issues pertaining to private banks. We represent banks before the FINMA, and provide legal assistance and advice as to the distribution of financial products in and from Switzerland. We also advise as to the regulation of other financial institutions such as collective investment schemes or securities dealers and as to the capital market regulations.
Jean-Pierre has led a seminar in banking law with Professor Gérard Hertig for the past 20 years. Over 15 private banks established in Geneva are members of the seminar. Members appreciate the direct exchange of expertise and experience among participants and experts. A summarizing note is circulated to the participants after each seminar and discussion.

On June 17, 2022, Helvetia Environnement Group SA as borrower and guarantor and Helvetia Environnement SA as borrower entered into a CHF 57 m Swiss law-governed credit facilities agreement with Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. as arranger, agent, security agent and original lender, and further Swiss banks as original lenders. The pricing of the financing is linked to certain sustainability performance targets.
