Philippe Jacquemoud and Aurélie Guex-Crosier were invited to speak at the 10th Tagung zu Private Equity, organised by the Europa Institut at the University of Zurich.
Their presentation focused on owner buyout transactions in Switzerland.
The presentation provided an analysis of (i) the key tax challenges associated with owner buyout transactions in Switzerland, with particular emphasis on transposition issues, (ii) the structuring options available to address these tax considerations, and (iii) an overview of the most significant provisions typically included in shareholders’ agreements in the context of owner buyout transactions.
